What should I choose - self-catering or the flexible catered option?
The advantage of booking Swiss Mountain Escape is the flexibility of catering options. You can choose to be fully self-catered where you buy all your own food and beverages and cook yourself. Or you can choose to have flexi- catering whereby you choose from our wide range of meal plans and we cater for you. See Flexi-catering Option for full details.
Do you accommodate short stays and/or weekend stays?
Yes, however this is reliant on availability, demand and general booking trends. On occasion, we can accept short-stays - please email us to inquire. Pricing is related to the time of year you are travelling.
Can I book transfers through Swiss Mountain Escape?
Swiss Mountain Escape can arrange transfers for all guests where required. We highly recommended that you organise this at the time of booking to avoid disappointment. Alternatively the village can be accessed fully by public transport. Check out for details.
Do you provide childcare or nanny services?
Swiss Mountain Escape does not offer child minding/nanny services, however babysitting can be arranged as necessary and pick up services with afternoon tea or lunch can be organised to allow you total flexibility with your ski and lunch plans.
Can I bring my dog on holiday?
Pets are not allowed at Swiss Mountain Escape.
Can I pre-book ski lift passes?
Yes - and we would highly recommend you to do so in order for you to avoid any unnecessary hassle on arrival in resort, and to also take advantage of some of our fantastic pre-booked deals.
Can I pre-book ski or snowboard hire?
Yes - and again we would highly recommend you to do so when you make your booking.
Can I arrange ski lessons through you?
Yes - and this is something that you should be doing sooner rather than later, since ski lessons are subject to availability and get booked up very quickly on peak dates.
Do you offer ski guiding?
No - legally we are not allowed to. However, we can organise ski guiding via the local guides.
When is changeover day?
Changeover day is when the accommodation is prepared for the arrival of new guests which essentially involves cleaning of the accommodation and change of linen. Changeover day is Saturday.
Is there parking?
Yes, we have secure underground car parking for one car and this is included free of charge.
Is Wi-Fi provided?
Yes and this is free of charge. We cannot guarantee that there is an uninterrupted service. Also we cannot guarantee any minimum speed of connection, especially when multiple devices are being used simultaneously. Please also note that we cannot guarantee that your device (laptop, tablet, phone etc) will be able to connect and use the wireless as all computer settings differ. Note: Downloading of internet material (even films or music) is not allowed and anyone to be found downloading inappropriate material will regrettably be reported to the relevant Authority.
Is there a safe in the apartment?
We do not have a safe in the apartment. Please be diligent when leaving the property. Please ensure you close all windows and lock any external doors securely. Lost keys are charged at CHF 250 per key.
Are bed linen and towels provided?
Yes, all bed linen and towels are provided. Kitchen towels and tea towels are also included. There is a towel change part way through the week and additional towel changes can be requested and charged to your booking.
Is there a washing machine in the apartment?
Yes, there is use of a communal washing machine and tumble dryer.
Do you cater for special diets?
Yes - but we need to know what these are at least a week before the start of your holiday Please also note that some ingredients are very difficult - if not impossible - to get in the Alps, so do feel free to bring along any specific or unusual ingredients if you require them. We ask for your help and understanding as much as possible in this respect and please note that if specific ingredients are required because of allergies, an additional charge for these may be charged.

When is my pre-departure information sent?
The pre-departure information is emailed to the party leader on receipt of your payment. This includes valuable information such as: address and directions of the apartment, emergency contact details, useful information relating to your accommodation and resort information & recommendations.
What time can I arrive?
Check-in is from 17.00. Storage for luggage outside of these times can be arranged on request. You are welcome to drop your bags off, get changed for skiing and head out onto the slopes as quickly as possible - we highly recommend pre-booking your ski passes through us so you can make the most of this additional day’s skiing.
What time do I have to leave?
We ask all our guests to vacate the apartment by 10.00. You are welcome to leave your luggage until departure.
Is my accommodation cleaned during the week?
The apartment is not cleaned during the week, however a house keeping service can be offered on request and charged accordingly. You will have access to a vacuum cleaner and basic cleaning materials as necessary.
What time are meals served?
For catered options, timings are completely flexible and can be discussed and agreed at time of booking.
How do I leave feedback?
The party leader will be emailed an online questionnaire after your holiday. If you want to give feedback whilst on your holiday or feel the need to raise any issue, please do let Jan know straight away, especially if it is something that we can do to improve your holiday.
What if I have left something behind?
If we can locate what you have left behind, we will (if possible) post this onto you. However please note that you will have to pay for the postage and a quote will be provided to you with payment being made in advance of sending the item/s.
